Since August 2019, we have been organising the BRAZIL iOOC – the first International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition in Brazil.

Over the past six years, the world’s finest olive oils have ranked among the Top Ten of the competition. The largest olive oil companies on the world participate in the BRAZIL iOOC.

The event takes place in two iconic locations: Kinoshita restaurant in São Paulo, which has received Michelin stars multiple times, and Quinta da Pacheca in Portugal, a historic estate with vineyards dating back to the 16th century, deeply rooted in the Douro Demarcated Region.

With olive oils from four continents, jury from three continents, and over 600 samples awarded, the competition is a benchmark in the industry.

Our logo and stickers were designed by the renowned Atelier Carvalho Araújo in Braga, Portugal, which is also responsible for our Design Award. We are a market reference. Over the years, hundreds of Brazilian and international TV channels and newspapers have covered the BRAZIL iOOC, as well as the global olive oil consumption and production market.

Beyond promoting quality olive oil, the BRAZIL iOOC enhances credibility and visibility in the Brazilian gastronomic market, influencing opinions and expanding the knowledge of producers, distributors, local and foreign traders, restaurants, chefs, and consumers in general. It also strengthens the agricultural sector focused on olive growing worldwide. Brazil is currently the second-largest importer of olive oil in the world.

This year, on July 14th & 15th, the expertsl from three continents will select the best extra virgin olive oils of 2O25.

BRAZIL iOOC is a dream that was born with the purpose of showing the best products to the consumers, always with much transparency, ethics, and professionalism, through a yearly international competition.
We are olive oil lovers and connoisseurs. For years we have been in this industry, following and closely observing each conquest that different olive oil producers have been achieving worldwide, always paying particular attention to excellence.
Through our network of juries, important players in the olive oil industry, we aim to discover, reveal and highlight the world’s best olive oils. Our plan is to educate and teach consumers how to use each olive oil to its best potential.
The top winners in the BRAZIL iOOC 2O25 competition will be widely promoted and endorsed, thus increasing exposure and
building knowledge in a network of producers, distributors, buyers, sellers, restaurants, chefs, and end consumers.
We are positive that our event (to occur on July 2O25) will greatly impact the national and international olive oil industry.
The BRAZIL iOOC 2O25 competition will once again be an event that values not only olive oil, but also its producers, providers, and other partners, with a greater goal to promote the increased consumption of this noble product. Given the growing importance that extra virgin olive oil has in our gastronomy and health, we know how important it is to reward olive oil producers worldwide that have excellence and quality as their main interests and goals.
